Dundrum House - Tassagh

Beautiful old accommodation with amazing setting close to Tassagh for a birthday, the surrounding area and a local restaurant. Excellent breakfast for all tastes with real tea and scenic view. Excellent service from the amicable, really helpful staff members.

The property met expectation, we would definitely return here. Thank you guys for a really enjoyable stay in making us feel welcome and making our visit memorable:)))

The bed linen needs improvement while the room was comfortable and spacious.

The place sits in a charming setting, offering beautiful views of the countryside that are hard to beat. Some original period features, like antique furniture and heritage colors, add a nice touch, reminiscent of times gone by.

The accommodations felt a bit dated, the furniture in the rooms might benefit from a refreshing update to match the lovely vibe downstairs. The communal breakfast experience can be challenging for those who prefer a quieter start to the day, especially with lively discussions taking over at the table. While the hot water is impressively scalding, some may find the sleeping arrangements a tad flimsy, leading to a less restful night due to noise from neighboring rooms.

Cleaning should be more thorough!!! The bathroom fixtures are outdated and in need of replacement!!! A little better noise insulation between rooms would also be greatly appreciated!!!

The food was fantastic. I loved being able to order exactly what I wanted, and Larry was super helpful throughout my stay. The cozy garden and relaxing TV room made unwinding a lot easier after a busy day. Just a heads up, the WiFi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn’t ruin the overall experience! 😊

Good place with excellent wi-fi, a lovely picnic area, and helpful 24-hour reception. On my first stay, staff helped me resolve technical issues, leaving a great impression. I'll be back for a weekend!

Beautiful gardens and rich history.

There was confusion over breakfast, as I expected much more for the rate paid. I noticed plenty of dust and dead flies in common areas, quite off-putting.

A Beautiful Countryside Experience with a Cute Host

Larry, our host, were pretty good too ensure we felt at home, even sharing interesting stories about the local history. The house itself is fine, surrounded by lush greenery, made for a perfect countryside escape. The breakfast was good, but the common area seating could use some more comfort. A nice experience!

Dundrum house bed & breakfast is fine. The house and grounds are gorgeous, and it's rich in history. We loved the spacious triple room and the delicious meals provided. Larry, our host, were really nice too ensure we had everything we needed. It's just a short walk to a lovely nearby pub!
